Futures Finboxes - Template insert
Have you ever wanted to install Futures boxes but don't have the jig or the right router bit?
This G10 Fibreglass insert is a way to make an install easier without the right tools!
Also when you break out a box you can use this foam insert to re install a new one
How to use this insert:
With the normal jig base for futures just insert inside the jig base and using a router bit with a ball bearing (make sure the ball bearing is the same size of the router bit blade and depth meets the same size as the futures box you are installing) Then just run your router bit with bearing running tightly against the G10 fiberglass insert, slowly working your way around the insert until the hole is clear to fit the foam surround and the futures fin box
Then install as one whole plus as per normal (make sure to paint resin on foam surround and finbox before putting together.) Then install as per a normal fin plug.
